August's Best Batter Announced Thursday, September 1st, 2022 Bob Sargent made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the USSL Double A this past month. The Belvedere Park Rawhides first baseman shone through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 25-year-old hit .311 with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 14 runs scored. This year Sargent is hitting .275 with 11 home runs and 64 RBIs in 85 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .389 with 57 walks and 52 runs scored. |
