SAA Player of the Week Awarded Monday, August 1st, 2022 So far in his young career, Armando Alvarado has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Asheville Highlanders shortstop hit at a torrid .385 clip as he collected 10 hits in 26 at-bats, 3 home runs, 4 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Alvarado is currently hitting at a .259 pace with 10 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
