Week's Top Performer Honored by SAA Monday, July 25th, 2022 22-year-old Jorge Flores made a few Marquette headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 4 hits in 7 at-bats to put up a .571 average. Flores collected 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Posting a .331 batting average to date, Flores has 9 home runs and 30 RBIs. |
