Miners Burton Snags SAA Player of the Week Monday, July 18th, 2022 Jack Burton burst onto the USSL Double A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie center fielder for Marquette garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 21-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .455 (10-for-22) with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs last week. For the season Burton is currently batting .285 with 3 home runs and 22 RBIs. In 53 games he has reached base at a .350 rate and scored 16 runs to date. |
