van Enk 5-for-5 Against Great Lakers Monday, July 11th, 2022 Quincy van Enk of the Doubledays was unstoppable in today's 17-0 victory over the Pure Michigan Great Lakers at Doubledays Stadium. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Tremont catcher after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Quincy van Enk singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, walked in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. So far this year van Enk has hit .290 with 3 home runs, 32 RBIs and 34 runs scored. |
