SAAA Player of the Week Selected Monday, August 15th, 2022 So far in his young career, Alberto Torres has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Augusta Timber Hawks first baseman hit at a torrid .600 clip as he collected 9 hits in 15 at-bats, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 4 runs scored. For the season Torres is hitting .350, batted in 63 runs with 8 home runs and 50 runs scored. |
