Super Week for Jersey City's Baxter! Monday, August 1st, 2022 USSL Triple A pitchers tried and tried all week long to stop Eddy Baxter, but to no avail. His eyes would light up when he came to the plate and he hit everything in sight, batting .625 for the week to win the SAAA Player of the Week Award. The Jersey City catcher cracked 15 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs, drove in 6 runs and scored 3 times. On the year Baxter has hit .326 with 12 home runs, 32 RBIs and scored 25 runs. |
