Great Lakers D'Angle Smacks 5 Hits Sunday, July 31st, 2022 It was a sensational day at the plate for Eric D'Angle as he led the charge to a 15-13 win over the Belugas. The Pure Michigan center fielder was pure misery for the Brinkley pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 5 hits in 7 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. The manager for the Belugas told BNN reporters after the game, "D'Angle put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Eric D'Angle singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, grounded out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. This year D'Angle is batting .500 with no home runs. |
