Ramírez Batters Phoenix for 5 Hits Thursday, June 2nd, 2022 All game long Royse City's Fernando Ramírez was rattling the walls at Royse City Stadium and banging out base hits against the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves and when the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a career day, a 5-hit day, but no victory. The Hotspur Reserves defeated the Targaryens 8-6 to take a little of the glitter of the occasion away. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 20-year-old catcher said, "To get 5 hits and win a ballgame, that would have been a very special day. But we didn't win today. It's not easy to be happy when you lose. Only losers do that." In all, Ramírez collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
