Conrad Wins PAAA 2022 Outstanding Hitter Award Saturday, October 8th, 2022 At the age of 26, Lonnie Conrad of the Tortolita Drummers could very well have his best years ahead of him. It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2022 was good enough to win the first baseman the USPL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach." The top hitter put up a .352 batting average this year, as well as a .445 on-base percentage. He played 86 games and racked up 116 hits, 15 doubles, no triples, 24 home runs, 70 RBIs and 73 runs scored. Robbie Anderson of the Royse City Targaryens finished second in voting, while Luis Velázquez of the Bakersfield Nobles finished third. |
