August's PAAA Top Pitcher is Buzz Horne Thursday, September 1st, 2022 "The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games." Powell Horne put together a very solid month to take home the USPL Triple A's top pitching honor in August. The 24-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 8 relief appearances he raked in 5 saves and 10 strikeouts in 9 innings as he put together his 2-0 record and 0.00 ERA. To date this year Horne has fashioned a 1.10 ERA over 16.1 innings with a 3-1 record. He has made 16 relief appearances with 16 strikeouts and 8 saves. |
