PAAA Player of the Week Named Monday, August 1st, 2022 25-year-old Mauro López made a few Tortolita headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USPL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 29 at-bats to put up a .448 average. López collected 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 8 runs. López is batting .264 this season in 67 games with 13 home runs, 27 RBIs and 47 runs scored. He has 72 hits in 273 at-bats. |
