Ríos USPL Triple A's Hottest Hitter Monday, July 25th, 2022 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Triple A, but last week Roberto Ríos of the Salt Lake City Buzz reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Ríos rocked opposing pitching for a .611 average (11-for-18), no home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. Thus far this season in 63 games Ríos is batting .310 with 1 home run, 19 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has 87 hits in 281 at-bats. |
