Hidalgo Gets Award for Relief Work Friday, October 28th, 2022 He may only be 24, but Gabriel Hidalgo of the D.C. Divided has already established himself as an elite Menard's Third League reliever. The reliever was today named the Third League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2022. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 34 saves in 50 relief appearances an 54 strikeouts in 52 innings. He had a record of 4-2 to go with his 1.04 ERA. Tony Hernández of the Oakland Oaks finished second in voting, while Bruce Hamilton of the Kingston Township Legion finished third. |
