Mark Melton Out of Action Monday, September 12th, 2022 The Rocky Mountain Nuggets were dealt a severe blow when Mark Melton was hurt running the bases recently in a game against the Seattle Aviators. After the game, the team trainer reported Melton might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 30-year-old second baseman out for the rest of the season with a sprained ankle. They indicated it would take Melton at least 4 weeks to heal. For the year Melton is hitting .237 with 3 home runs. His stats include 32 runs batted in and 41 runs scored. |
