Big Bat Pays Off, Gardner Player of the Week Monday, August 15th, 2022 One of the league's most exciting young players, Mike Gardner of the D.C. Divided earned himself Third League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 24-year-old right fielder had a lofty .412 average (7-for-17), collecting 4 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this season Gardner is hitting .268 with 8 home runs, 38 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has 69 hits in 257 at-bats and a .392 OBP. |
