Griffith Blisters Hartford Thursday, July 21st, 2022 It was a good day all around. Thunder Bay whipped Hartford 10-2 and Arnold Griffith displayed a hot bat, enjoying an outstanding 5-hit day at Great Northern Field. "Some days, lady luck is on your side," he modestly told BNN reporters after the game. His manager told the beat writers otherwise, "His hitting wasn't luck today. It's his solid approach to hitting. Arnold is focused, patient and he hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have." The 24-year-old shortstop for the Northern Lions BC collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats to get his name in the record book. Arnold Griffith singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
