Athletic Club KC Narrowly Wins Premier A Monday, September 5th, 2022 It was far from a foregone conclusion, but the Athletic Club KC U-21 are now champions of the Premier A. "We battled, day in and day out and the nobody made it easy for us," said reliever Carlos Acosta. "This is one to savor, as it was close right down to the end and that puts a lot of pressure on a team." With a record of 57-38, the U-21 have officially won their 1st division crown. Manager Juan Medellín said there's "a lot of pride and excitement" involved in coming out on top of the Premier A. The club will now be looking to win the 1st USPL Single A championship in franchise history. |
