Sunday, July 31st, 2022
It takes more than one player to win a baseball game. Arturo Maldonado of the Black Cats is proof of that. The Gwinnett County first baseman gave it his all and dominated Hammond pitching today at The Heron Refuge with a great 5-for-5 game. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Herons went home the winner, 4-1. Arturo Maldonado singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
Thus far this year Maldonado is hitting .321 with no home runs, 15 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
