Hitting Streak Still Alive for Salinas Thursday, July 21st, 2022 Juan Salinas of the Syracuse Storm just keeps going and going. The hot-hitting third baseman went 1-for-4 in his team's 2-1 victory over the Put-In-Bay BC at Put-In-Bay Ballpark and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "He is definitely on a roll right now" said a BC pitcher. "I thought I made some good pitches against him, but he's a good hitter and hit 'em anyway." When asked about his performance, Salinas said, "I don't care if I go hitless as long as we get the win." Juan Salinas struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Vicente García in the 9th. Salinas is currently batting .313 with 7 home runs and 39 RBIs. |
