Injured Pearce Out 5 Months Monday, May 30th, 2022 Jeff Pearce will have to wait a while longer. The Washington reliever was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 5 months with a bone spur in his elbow. The injury has kept him off the field since 05/26/2022. Though Pearce had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." Pearce has made 7 relief appearances this year and notched 4 saves. To date in 9 innings he has a 1-1 record, 5.00 ERA with 7 strikeouts and 2 walks. |
