Martínez Heads 3A Best Player List Friday, September 23rd, 2022 The manager of the Myrtle Beach Seahawks said he thinks Tony Martínez is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 22, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2022 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the M3L Single A Outstanding Hitter Award. His winning campaign featured a .292 batting average and a .395 on-base percentage this year. In 89 games he piled up 90 hits, 21 doubles, no triples, 18 home runs, 51 RBIs and 56 runs scored. Jim Scott of the Delaware 1787 BC finished second in voting, while Tony Vega of the Delaware 1787 BC finished third. |
