M3L Single A Best Pitcher Chosen Thursday, September 22nd, 2022 The Provo clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Jason Troughton will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2022 M3L Single A Pitcher of the Year Award. Troughton made 22 starts this year, winning 10 and losing 7. He threw 170.2 innings, fanned 185, allowed 127 hits and 37 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .204 average as he logged an impressive 1.95 ERA. Pedro Rodríguez of the Delaware 1787 BC finished second in voting, while José Zavala of the Belleville Bulls finished third. |
