Troughton Cruises to Shutout Monday, September 5th, 2022 In an excellent mound performance, Jason Troughton of the Provo Mango whitewashed the Hogsmeade Cauldrons 5-0 on a 4-hitter. He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches." The Hogsmeade manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Troughton did a good job keeping us guessing." In all, the Provo hurler rang up 10 strikeouts and 2 walks in the shutout win. This year Troughton has fashioned a 10-7 mark, 1.95 ERA and pitched 170.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .204 against him and he has logged 185 strikeouts. |
