Wild Card Clinched by Mango Monday, September 5th, 2022 For the Provo Mango, it's not how you start, but how you finish. That's the mantra the team is following after today qualifying for the playoffs. "We may be going into the playoffs as a wild card team, but we plan to finish the playoffs as champions," said starting pitcher Jason Troughton. "There's no shortage of confidence from guys in our clubhouse." With a record of 57-38, there will of course be teams with better track records in the postseason. But team manager Ken Miller said his club has "infinite optimism" that they can win the franchise's 2nd M3L Single A championship. |
