3A Star of the Week Named Monday, September 5th, 2022 So far in his young career, Javier Rivera has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Single A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Grand Forks Caterpillars third baseman hit at a torrid .424 clip as he collected 14 hits in 33 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far this season Rivera is hitting .244 with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has 62 hits in 254 at-bats and a .290 OBP. |
