Red-Hot Martínez Scorches Expos Sunday, August 28th, 2022 The Kennesaw Jets upended the Niagara Falls Expos at Jets Stadium today in large part to catcher Nelson Martínez, who had a smashing day with the bat -- he racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and help propel the Jets to a 2-1 victory. Nelson Martínez singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 9th, walked in the 10th, singled in the 12th and singled in the 14th. Currently Martínez is batting .285 with 2 home runs and 26 RBIs. |
