Cauldrons Pitching Ravaged by Miranda Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 It doesn't happen very often, but it happened for Jorge Miranda -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage at Gators Ballpark and paced the Bulls to a 4-3 win over the Hogsmeade Cauldrons. After his dynamite batting performance the Mt. Vernon shortstop told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Jorge Miranda singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 10th. |
