Screaming Eagles Branch Blanks Youth Friday, August 6th, 2021 Larry Branch of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles whitewashed the Phoenix Hotspur Youth 3-0 in a complete-game win, limiting them to 3 hits while chalking up 4 strikeouts and giving up no walks. Talking to BNN writers after the game, his manager said, "He's got the makeup. He's not afraid to challenge guys. Larry is pretty poised out there. He knows how to pitch and how to use his stuff." To date this year Branch has won 2 and lost 2 with a 2.37 ERA, 2 saves and 38 strikeouts in 6 relief appearances. |
