Hit Streak Now at 20 for Tyler Friday, July 16th, 2021 Mermen first baseman Kevin Tyler is really on a roll. In today's game at Grenadiers Ballpark he came up with 1 hit in 3 at-bats and extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. But the Phoenix Hotspur Youth came up winners on the scoreboard and topped Myrtle Beach 2-1. Kevin Tyler singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. During the current season Tyler is batting at a .361 clip with 8 home runs and 27 RBIs. He has played in 32 games and scored 25 times. |
