Playoff Bound: Misfits Win Wild Card Saturday, September 18th, 2021 The Salem Misfits said they relish the role of underdogs. The Misfits have captured a M3L Double A wild card position and will be looking to make some noise in the postseason. "I hope teams take us lightly because we didn't win the division - but I think they know that would be a mistake," said starting pitcher Travis Carson. "If teams think we're a pushover, we've got a surprpise for them." When the playoffs begin, Salem will be looking for its 4th 3L AA Championship title. |
