3AA's Top Player Named Monday, September 6th, 2021 Júlio Valentín is respected by most Salem Misfits fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the M3L Double A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .320 average (8-for-25) with 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This season Valentín is batting .299 with 115 hits, 17 home runs, 73 RBIs, .358 OBP and has scored 54 runs. |
