Robinson's Strong Week Earns 3AA Trophy Monday, July 19th, 2021 26-year-old John Robinson made a few Yakima headlines during this past week as the rookie catcher proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 8 hits in 15 at-bats to put up a .533 average. Robinson collected 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 2 runs. In 35 games Robinson is hitting .285 this season with 35 hits, 5 home runs, 22 RBIs, 18 walks, .376 OBP and has scored 13 runs. |
