SAAA Honors Miura, #1 Batter in August Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 Taikan Miura put together a good August to earn the USSL Triple A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Tremont officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Doubledays first baseman posted a .338 batting average with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs and 17 runs scored. On the year Miura is hitting .289 with 81 hits, 11 home runs, 47 RBIs, .389 OBP and has scored 50 runs. |
