SAAA's Best Player Named Monday, August 23rd, 2021 Athletic Club KC Reserves designated hitter Rafael García walked away with the USSL Triple A Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Reserves fans are really behind me right now," said the 28-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." García batted .500 (11-for-22) with 1 home run and 9 RBIs this week on his way to the award. For the year García is hitting .398 with 2 home runs. His stats include 34 runs batted in and 34 runs scored. |
