Alonso Sticks it to SAAA Pitchers Monday, August 2nd, 2021 José Alonso is respected by most Calgary Lynx fans for his no-frills style of play. The 19-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USSL Triple A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .419 average (13-for-31) with 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This season Alonso is batting .326 with 61 hits, 2 home runs, 27 RBIs, .373 OBP and has scored 34 runs. |
