5-Hit Blitz by Murdoch Wednesday, July 28th, 2021 At Crane Field Micheal Murdoch was the King of Swing today in the 13-6 win over the Golden Cranes. The Jersey City third baseman stepped into the batter's box 5 times against the Santa Barbara and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He told the press, "Unbelievable feeling. It felt good. 5 for 5! It does wonders for your batting average, too." Micheal Murdoch walked in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 9th. This year Murdoch is batting .667 with 3 home runs and 5 RBIs. |
