Koper on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Houston Saturday, July 10th, 2021 5 hits in 5 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today Josef Koper of the Alaskan Humpbacks had a sensational game against Houston at Houston Park. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark in his team's 10-2 shellacking of the BC. In the postgame press conference he joked, "Heck, that's a week's worth of hitting for me and I did ,it all in one day. I guess I can take the rest of the week off. Right, skipper?" Josef Koper singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. On the season, Koper is batting .258 with 2 home runs and 22 RBIs. He has played in 54 games. |
