Hamilton Whitewashed by Brey Thursday, July 8th, 2021 "He was too darn good for us today," grumbled the Hamilton manager after his club suffered a 5-0 shutout at the hands of Victor Brey of the Scranton Supernovas. He held the Hamilton Coyotes scoreless in a 5-hit whitewash. Brey was in a zone of his own most of the game and finished with 3 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing. In a postgame quote his own skipper added, "He pitched his butt off, had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. Victor did a whale of a pitching job." To date this year in 11 starts, Brey has crafted a 7-1 mark with a 2.49 ERA. |
