Player of the Week: Wilmington's González Monday, June 28th, 2021 Felipe González burst onto the M3L Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie first baseman for Wilmington garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 23-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .625 (15-for-24) with no home runs and 7 RBIs last week. This year González is hitting .333 with 52 hits, 4 home runs, 28 RBIs and has scored 25 runs. |
