#1 3AAA Hurler Named Monday, October 4th, 2021 He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Luis Flores performed like a veteran on the hill for the Balboa Buccaneers and walked away with the M3L Triple A Outstanding Pitcher Award in the process. The 20-year-old Buccaneers star fashioned a 11-4 won-loss record in 2021 with a 2.93 ERA. In 175.1 innings of work and 24 starts, Flores struck out 135 while giving up 155 hits and 78 walks. He held opposing batters to a .240 average. John Dempsey of the Balboa Buccaneers finished second in voting, while Woody Sullivan of the Scranton Supernovas finished third. |
