Young Selected Player of the Week Monday, September 6th, 2021 At the age of 28, Denny Young might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Wilmington first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .500 batting average. For his efforts Young collected the M3L Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 4 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 6 games. Looking at his stats this year, Young has compiled a .366 batting average, while hitting 16 home runs and driving in 71 runs. He has played in 96 games and scored 66 runs. |
