ParksNRec Pitching Ravaged by Chamissa Monday, August 16th, 2021 Who needs batting practice? Jean Chamissa of Sioux Falls apparently doesn't as he peppered Pawnee with a 5-hit outburst in today's game. He got the hits, but lost the game. The ParksNRec pulled out a 12-9 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. This was really something... a 5 for 5 day... will my name be in the record books now?" One of his teammates hollered out, "No, only if your team wins the game!" Jean Chamissa singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. To date, Chamissa has collected 63 hits for a .244 average. He has posted 3 home runs, scored 29 runs and driven in 18 runs. |
