Timber Hawks Thomas Vaughan Wins 3AAA Award Monday, August 9th, 2021 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Triple A, but last week Thomas Vaughan of the Augusta Timber Hawks reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Vaughan rocked opposing pitching for a .615 average (8-for-13), no home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. Vaughan is batting .326 this season in 22 games with 1 home run, 20 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 29 hits in 89 at-bats. |
