Hale Gets 2-Game Suspension Sunday, July 25th, 2021 For his part in an altercation with an umpire over a third strike, Hamilton Coyotes right fielder Cliff Hale will have to sit out 2 games. The league commissioner's office today notified the Coyotes that Hale had been suspended for his poor conduct during the Humpbacks game yesterday at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. After being ejected, Hale turned and walked toward the dugout, but then turned around, began yelling at the umpire and kicked dirt on home plate. The league said this type of behavior is not acceptable and will be dealt with according to league disciplinary policies. This year Hale is batting .316 with no home runs and 1 RBIs. In 21 games he has scored 2 times. |
