Cotton Takes PA #1 Pitcher Trophy Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 It's official! Floyd Cotton of the Mancelona Torch is the USPL Single A Pitcher of the Month. In August he dominated the league with 4 wins and 1 loss in 5 starts. In 39.2 innings of work Cotton chalked up 28 strikeouts, 9 walks, a 2.04 ERA and held opposing hitters to a .191 batting average. Thus far this season, Cotton has tossed 134 innings in 18 starts, fanned 119 batters, walked 42 and put up a 3.36 ERA with 11 wins and 6 losses. |
