Cashmore Takes Best Bat Award in August Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 Joe Cashmore may be much younger than other hitters in the USPL Single A, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old Hammond first baseman hit .397 with 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 15 runs scored. For the season Cashmore is currently batting .258 with 8 home runs and 43 RBIs. In 91 games he has reached base at a .356 rate and scored 37 runs to date. |
