Phoenix's Gómez Acclaimed Best PA Hitter Sunday, August 1st, 2021 Pedro Gómez has a lot going for him. The Phoenix shortstop just broke into the majors this year and now the USPL Single A has just picked him as its top hitter for July. In 24 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .374 with 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and 14 runs scored. This year Gómez is hitting .303 with 7 home runs and 31 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .353 clip and scored 26 runs. |
