Gwinnett County Blanked by García Monday, July 12th, 2021 Ramiro García was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Black Cats. He shut them out 9-0 on 1 hit with 9 strikeouts and 2 walks. The Put-In-Bay manager said, "Ramiro was very aggressive tonight. He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence." The losing manager had praise, too. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well. García has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off." This year García has fashioned a 3-1 mark, 2.68 ERA and pitched 43.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .206 against him and he has logged 41 strikeouts. |
