Novak Tosses Shutout Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 Lindsay Novak had an impressive outing today. He hurled the Athletic Club KC U-21 to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Walla Walla Walleye, yielding 3 hits with 13 strikeouts and 3 walks. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," the Walla Walla skipper said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." Up to this point in the season, Novak has made 20 relief appearances with 10 saves. Novak has also recorded a 6-8 won-lost mark with a 3.38 ERA. In 109.1 innings he has fanned 90. |
